Police investigating two Mirrabooka sex assaults

POLICE are investigating two separate Mirrabooka sex assaults on women in the same area over the weekend.

Sex Assault Squad Detectives are investigating an assault on a female in her 20s about 11:10pm on Sunday March 5, in Redunca Reserve on Coronata Way.

The two separate sexual assaults occurred on Sunday March 5 and early morning on Monday March 6.

A police spokesman said there was no evidence to suggest the two offences were linked at this stage.

Detectives would like to speak to anyone who was in the vicinity of Coronata Way and Redunca Way in Mirrabooka that may have seen or heard anything.

Police have released an image of a man who they believe can help them with the investigation.

He is described as being approximately 30 to 40 years of age, dark skinned, small amount of pimples on both cheeks, short curly hair, solid build and about 180cm tall.

He was wearing a dark grey T-shirt and long cream shorts.
