ARSON Squad detectives are hunting two men over a fire that gutted a Yokine hair salon early Tuesday morning.

They say two men arrived in a vehicle before the fire was reported about 3am and smashed the glass of the Michael Street business.

“They forced their way into the premises and poured an unknown accelerant inside and set it alight,” a police spokesman said.

The salon was destroyed and damage is estimated at more than $50,000.

Investigators want to speak to anyone who has dash cam or CCTV footage from the area around the time of the fire.

Anyone with information can report it anonymously to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.

Rewards of up to $50,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
