TWO men, including a 22-year-old from Karrinyup, were taken to hospital on May 30 after allegedly being assaulted in Northbridge.
A police spokeswoman said that about 3am officers were called to a Newcastle Street carpark in relation to two men being assaulted by several people.
“A 36-year-old Mosman Park man was taken to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and a 22-year-old Karrinyup man was taken to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment,” she said.
“Four men were seen to leave in a vehicle, which was stopped a short time later on Mitchell Freeway.
“All four men were taken into custody and later released without charge.”
The investigation is ongoing.
