Police search for teen over bakery hold up

A TEENAGER allegedly held up a Wembley Downs bakery armed with a knife.

The manager of Lawley’s Bakery Café was confronted by a juvenile wearing a hoodie on October 14 at about 2pm.

According to police, the offender was armed with a knife and demanded money from the cash register.

The manager told the boy to leave but he allegedly pointed the knife at the employee and an elderly female customer.

He left after the manager called police.

Officers are trying to locate a 14-year-old boy they want to speak to about the incident.
