Police seek suspect from Innaloo bank robbery

POLICE are seeking information about an armed robbery in Innaloo yesterday.

A man approached a teller at a bank on Scarborough Beach Road about 3.40pm, after waiting in line for several minutes.

The man handed over a note and the teller noticed what appeared to be a firearm under the man’s shirt.

The teller placed cash in a bag, which the man walked out of the bank with, and was last seen running west along Scarborough Beach Road.

The suspect is described as light skinned, about 165cm tall, medium build and was wearing a blue and white shirt, blue jeans, dark sunglasses, a wide brimmed straw hat and carrying a dark coloured backpack.
