Porsche and expensive jewellery stolen during home burglary

POLICE are searching for a Porsche stolen along with $20,000 worth of jewellery from a Woodlands home.

The owners of a Ewen Street property reported their home was broken into on April 9.

They reported jewellery and electrical goods worth about $30,000 were taken, as well as a 2006 Porsche coupe worth about $90,000.

Mirrabooka Detectives charged a 30-year-old Mandurah man, who was on bail, the next day.

Officers searched the man’s house he shared with a woman and seized jewellery valued at about $20,000, a key for the Porsche and other suspected stolen items.

The woman was charged with receiving and possessing stolen property and cannabis possession, and was bailed to appear in Mandurah Courthouse on May 10.

The man was charged with burglary, stealing, possession of stolen property and drug possession, and was refused bail.

Police are still trying to locate the stolen car.
