Thirteen years later and still with the company, Mrs Harbo was named residential property manager of the year at the Real Estate Institute of WA’s annual awards ceremony.

It is the most contested award of all the categories, and the judges commended Mrs Harbo on her reliability, commitment and innovation.

Although the award was based on non-financial criteria, master of ceremonies Paul Martell acknowledged Mrs Harbo had achieved an incredible 100 per cent client retention rate during the last financial year.

Currently on maternity leave after the arrival of baby Ella, Mrs Harbo said she was keeping in touch with clients and co-ordinating projects from home ahead of her return to work in January.
