ROGUE One: A Star Wars Story broke box office pre-sale ticket records in 10 minutes this week.
Just 10 minutes after tickets went on sale at 8am yesterday it became the highest and fastest selling pre-sale film of 2016 for Event Cinemas, with more than 8000 tickets feverishly snapped up by fans.
Almost 28, 878 tickets were sold Australia-wide in the first 24 hours, with more than 4000 sold in Perth alone.
The standalone Star Wars film, which is released on December 15, has already out-sold other 2016 box office hits such as Deadpool and Finding Dory.
