The bakery’s fruit mince slice and meat pie placed third.

Owner Vuong Dong is no stranger to awards, regularly picking up gongs at the Perth Royal Show, and collecting accolades for more than 20 years.

Mr Dong said he was honoured to receive the five awards.

“I’m thankful for the opportunity to participate in the WA Commercial Bread and Pastry Competition, where I could proudly showcase an assortment of pies, pastries and sweets,” he said.

“The competition itself is run by bakers for bakers, every year.”
