Officers attended the scene at 12.30am after they were called to a report of the injured man who lying on Hastings Street.

The 24-year-old Scarborough man was taken to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment.

A police spokeswoman said Mirrabooka detectives were investigating the incident.

“How the man received his injuries are unknown at this time,’ she said.

“Police are investigating whether he was struck by a vehicle, assaulted or fell over.

“Accurate information will be provided once this comes to hand.”
