Scarborough Police ‘all hands on deck’ after jewellery theft from Karrinyup Shopping Centre early this morning

Kate LeaverStirling Times

OFFENDERS broke into Karrinyup Shopping Centre about 3.05am this morning and sole a quantity of jewellery.

Two offenders forced entry into the shopping centre before forcing their way into the jewellery store, smashed several glass display cabinets and stole jewellery before leaving.

Senior Sergeant Glenn Dowding said it was “all hands on deck” at the Scarborough Police station to piece together what happened.

“We have seen burglaries at both Karrinyup and Innaloo shopping centres before but the alarms usually go off before they are able to enter the stores,” he said.
