FUN and food trucks are the basis for a free community event in Scarborough this Friday night.

Scarborough Primary School will host the Food Truck ’n’ Fun event thanks to a $3000 Community Chest grant from developer 3 Oceans.

There will be a range of food trucks, sausage sizzle and licensed bar, as well as children’s activities including an inflatable obstacle course, disco, busking station and face painting.

School P&C president Melinda Mounsey said it promised to be a great night where families could enjoy something to eat and children could have fun.

It will be on the school oval at 60 Hinderwell Street, Scarborough, on Friday from 5pm to 9pm.
