School reforms caned

The school expects to lose close to $85,000 because of the reforms, including $55,000 to staffing.

A spokesman from the parent body said the P&C was disappointed with the State Government’s decision.

‘As a parent body, we stand by our school community,’ the spokesman said.

‘We are disappointed with the budget cuts as they do not reflect the outstanding work that is provided to our children by the teachers and non-teaching staff at North Beach Primary School.”

Mother-of-four Monique Price has two children attending North Beach PS and said she was extremely disappointed in the State Government’s decision to cut funding to the school.

‘I think it’s disgusting really’
