THE five stars of the Brownes Dairy CHILL advertisement that first aired 19 years ago reunited at the Balcatta business today on the eve of the release of a renewed version.
Actors Michael Caruso, Danny Carbone and Dean Harnett, music composer Tim Count and voice over Gary Taylor remain friends making it easy for the dairy to track them down for the 25th anniversary of the flavoured milk range: Brownes Dairy CHILL.
To celebrate, Brownes Dairy has recycled the retro Percolated Coffee CHILL carton and the barista ad “Coffee Coffee Coffee CHILL”, which was filmed 19 years ago.
Mr Taylor will provide the voice over for the renewed version of the ad that will premiere tomorrow – Australia Day.
Senior Brand Manager Sam Martin said reviving the packaging and TV commercial was as a nostalgic throwback designed to celebrate CHILL’s roots as an iconic WA brand loved by generations of West Australians.
“The purpose of this campaign is to thank everyone who is a loyal CHILL drinker for their years of support” Mr Martin said.
“We just couldn’t believe that in such a short space of time we were able to find everyone who was involved in the commercial 19 years ago.”
