Stirling Mayor Giovanni Italiano said 73 per cent of participants in the first campaign thought the stickers were a valuable way to encourage slower speeds on their street.

“The bin stickers are only displayed one day a week on the street in an effort to reduce the chance that motorists will become accustomed to their presence,” Cr Italiano said. “Targeted locations were widely spread throughout the City, especially on roads that have received a number of complaints, including near schools and recreation facilities.”
