Stranger danger lessons for kids

ATI instructor Michael Kaplan said the club had been running free anti-abduction courses in daycares, primary schools and kids holiday programs.

“Our aim and mission is to educate children from a very young age to learn about stranger awareness, which includes lessons on how to fight off a stranger or predator and what strangers can do to you,” he said.

“As you know with anything we do, repetition is essential for our children to become more aware and vigilant against these unsavoury predators.”

Mr Kaplan said being qualified to teach early childhood and primary school children enabled him to teach children as young as three how to defend themselves.
