Stirling marketing and communication manager Meriel Pickering said the event attracted more than 30,000 people.

“It attracts 30,000 plus patrons to 50 events throughout the City of Stirling across 17 days,” she said.

“Jam packed with music, comedy, circus, theatre, art, children’s activities and more, the festival catered for everyone – transforming parks, buildings and neighbourhoods into pop-up venues, creative spaces and hubs of activity.”

The Summerset Arts Festival is also nominated for Australia’s Favourite Event, which will be decided by vote of the Australian public once voting opens on August 25.
