HAMERSLEY watercolour artist Stephanie Boyle is one of seven local artists who will open their homes as part of the Artist Open Studio on Sunday January 22 and 29.
The event, part of the Summerset Arts Festival, encourages art lovers to visit the homes and studios of the artists for an intimate insight into their inspirations and arts practice.
Visitors will get to meet the artists, learn from them and experience first-hand artists at work in their own studios while browsing artworks for sale in a casual and relaxed atmosphere.
Mrs Boyle, who has been painting watercolours since 1992, said she was happy to be a part of the festival along with her fellow artists.
Having studied a Certificate of Art and Design, Mrs Boyle said she had been part of Wanneroo Art Society, was a current member of the Watercolour Society of WA and taught watercolour painting at the Claremont School of Art.
“I consider myself extremely lucky to be able to express myself through my passion for painting,” she said.
