DOG lovers gathered at FurBaby Boutique and Cafe in Westminster on the weekend to distribute flyers calling for the safe return of the Howes family’s two miniature schnauzers.

Moby and Huffy are support dogs for Glenda Howes’ daughter Olivia who has severe social anxiety.

The dogs were taken from the family’s Eaton home on Sunday, April 14.

“My daughter Olivia and I arrived home on Sunday, 14 April to find our home had been broken into and Huffy and Moby had been stolen,” Ms Howes said.

“Since they’ve been missing Olivia’s mental health has taken a huge step back.”

Ms Howes said the dogs were distinctive and easily identifiable.

“Huffy is about two-thirds of the size of a regular mini schnauzer and Moby because he’s all white,” she said.

“Moby is only four months old and was due for his parvo vaccinations four days before he was snatched.

“He also needs a procedure for an umbilical hernia, so we are really concerned for his safety.”

Anyone who may have seen the dogs or know their whereabouts should call Glenda on 0427 889 282 or the Pet Detective on 0406 834 001.
