Manager Paul Rafferty said the centre was inundated with clothes and food donations for refugees after the Perth Welcomes Syrian Refugees Facebook group was established.
Mr Rafferty said the centre had to get assistance from the Salvation Army to manage the intake of donations and asked community members wanting to help to donate directly to the Salvos.
He said centre staff would assist the family in finding their own home to rent in the next month and had already coordinated referral services and registrations for the family with several Government and not-profit organisations.
Mr Rafferty said the family, including three primary school aged children, was doing well and attended a Welcome to WA on November 22 with other humanitarian clients.
The family will be participating in a range of programs in the coming months including the Adult Migrant English Program, he said.
A case management plan for the family is being developed to ensure they receive individualised pathways to ensure a successful settlement based on their needs.
