Synergy offering charities, not-for-profit groups $150,000 solar power grant

PERTH charities and non-profit groups can apply for free solar panels.

Synergy is offering a $150,000 community solar fund to provide up to six charities or groups with a free solar power system and complimentary installation.

The scheme aims to allow groups to re-invest savings obtained from the solar panels into the community.

Applicants do not have to own the building to be eligible if they have the owner’s approval for installation.

Groups can apply at www.synergy.net.au/solarfund until April 23 and winners will be announced in June.
