POLICE have charged three men with aggravated armed robbery over an incident in Tuart Hill last month.

On February 26, the male victim arranged to meet an associate at a Tuart Hill park and on arrival was allegedly approached by an unknown man and ordered into a vehicle at gunpoint.

Police said a second unknown man was in the vehicle and also armed with a gun.

The victim was allegedly ordered to drive to his home in the vehicle, where he was restrained while the men searched his residence then ordered him to hand over cash and other valuables.

The men then left in the victim’s car.

Major Fraud Squad detectives executed search warrants yesterday in Seville Grove, Perth and Osborne Park with help from the Tactical Response Group.

Detectives alleged they seized a rifle, shotgun and methylamphetamine during the searches.

A 45-year-old Tuart Hill man has been charged with detaining another with intent to gain a benefit, aggravated armed robbery and possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

They charged a 38-year-old man of no fixed address and a 49-year-old Perth man with detaining another with intent to gain a benefit, aggravated armed robbery, stealing a motor vehicle and aggravated home burglary.

They will appear in Perth Magistrates Court today.
