A TRIGG beach was closed this afternoon after a shark sighting.
Surf Life Saving WA reported a 2.5m shark about 100m offshore of Mettams Pool at 3pm this afternoon.
The report said the shark species was unknown and the animal was travelling north.
The City of Stirling closed the beach but said it reopened at 4pm.
