Liam Ducey, Stirling TimesStirling Times

At 2.50pm on Saturday, a burglary was reported at a residence in Raymond Street, Tuart Hill.

A report was received 25 minutes later of two people acting suspiciously, carrying a large TV along Wanneroo Road, near Lawley Street.

A police vehicle was sent to the area to conduct a patrol and came across the two men, who ran from the area when they saw the police officers.

One of the men was apprehended nearby, but the other took off, leading to a long foot chase.

The second man managed to evade arrest at first, but police dog Enzo had also been called into action and the officers took him to where the man was last seen.

Enzo immediately picked up a scent and tracked it through a vacant block and into the rear yard of a residence on Golfview Street where a man was found hiding behind a bush.
