Verge items taken in possible case of mistaken identity

SCARBOROUGH police officers believe a man mistook renovation items for a council verge collection on Karrinyup Road in Trigg on January 26.

The homeowners were building a cool room and left 15 cool room panels on the verge, which were then taken.

Senior Sergeant Glenn Dowding said CCTV footage showed a car driving past the house twice.

Police are assessing the CCTV footage to identify the offender.
