WA Police attend out of control party in Scarborough

SIX people will face court following an out of control party in Scarborough last night.
North West Metropolitan Police responded to reports of people fighting around Brighton Road about 10pm on March 17.
According to a WA Police Inspector Mal Anderson, the first responders faced is crowd of more than 50 young men and women fighting in the street.
The Regional Operations Group were called in to support local police and 18 police vehicles from across Perth attended.
Police declared it an out-of-control-gathering, and it took them about an hour and a half to restore order.
“Inquiries are continuing in relation to the resident holding the party,” Insp Anderson said.
“Three juveniles and eight men were taken into custody – six will be appearing in court facing charges of disorderly conduct or failing to disperse.
“A further four were issued with $500 ‘disorderly conduct’ infringements.
“Three men were also issued with move on notices.”
