Kieren, of Bassendean, is in his second year of the Bachelor degree.

Di Watts and Jan Pettorino are again organising the annual fundraising event with part proceeds going to the Royal WA Historical Society of WA in Nedlands.

Georgia said her family had been friends with Di for years and she had supported several of her charity events.

“I’ve followed the charity work she does, it’s amazing,” Georgia said.

“She’s always been very supportive of my music.”

Georgia is also part of an all-girl band The Birds, which has a gig at the Subiaco Arts Centre on July 31.

The singer said she hoped to stay in Perth when she finished her Honours at the end of the year but eventually wanted to go overseas to Canada or London and continue studying.
