Wembley Downs social worker Stephan Lund wins WA Social Worker of the Year award

The executive manager at Scarborough-based foster care organisation Wanslea Family Services was recognised as the winner of the ‘Leading the Way’ category before being announced as the winner of the 2016 WA Social Worker of the Year title.

Mr Lund was acknowledged alongside 14 other finalists in five categories at the ceremony held at UWA, and was recognised for his enthusiasm and passion for social work.

He is also known as a prominent member of the community with his volunteer roles at Wembley Downs Soccer Coach and Floreat Surf Life Saving Club.
