Westminster’s FurBaby Cafe hosting Easter treasure hunt for dogs

Laura PondStirling Times

DOGS need not miss out on Easter celebrations, with a Westminster pet cafe offering a treasure hunt for pooches.

FurBaby Cafe is dedicating its enclosed off-lead area to a treat treasure hunt, where dogs can navigate the maze and use their noses to sniff out tasty snacks.

The hunt will be completed individually to ensure no fighting over food.

Owner Shari Lovreta said they were excited to offer something special for pets at Easter and usually had some rabbits visit the cafe over the period too.

“It’s great to see so many of the fur babies in Perth be able to enjoy quality time with their fur-parents and join in the festivities, especially at such a special time like Easter,” she said.

The hunt costs $10 and includes a packet of treats.

If you want to spend some quality time with your pet, the cafe serves breakfast and lunch for hungry humans and is BYO alcohol, while pets can enjoy a freshly baked treat and even a dog beer.

The cafe will open on March 31 from 7.30am to 4pm, April 1 from 7.30am to 11am and April 1 from 9am to 2pm.
