Laura PondStirling Times

POLICE are looking for witnesses to an alleged hit and run of an elderly couple in Karrinyup.

A 91-year-old man and 89-year-old woman were taken to hospital with serious injuries following the crash, which happened in the Karrinyup Shopping Centre carpark on Friday at about 12.15pm.

Police believe the driver of a silver Toyota Rav 4 was trawling for an available parking space, near the centre’s taxi lounge area, when they stopped and reversed into the couple who were crossing from the centre into the carpark.
