Women charged after drug bust

TWO women are facing court over a drug bust in Osborne Park.

Scarborough Police attended an Albert Street home in the early morning on July 8 after receiving information from the public.

Three people were seen running from the property and drove off in a car before being stopped by officers.

Police searched the car and allegedly found $5000 cash, 3.82g of MDMA and 1g of methamphetamine, along with smoking implements.

They charged a 33-year-old Hocking woman with intent to sell or supply drugs, drug possession and unlawful possession regarding the cash.

She will face court on July 29.

A 25-year-old Padbury woman was charged in relation to the cash and smoking implements.
