Writer, educator Zainab Syed to deliver workshops at Stirling libraries

WRITER, performer and educator Zainab Syed will present a range talks and perform poetry at City of Stirling libraries over the coming weeks. A scholar of Middle East and South Asia political science, Syed said she aimed to be thought provoking and astringent, reclaiming narratives and nurturing change.

Having facilitated workshops on writing as expression, healing and empowerment at the women’s prison in Rhode Island, to trauma victims in Pakistan, she currently works with migrants and refugees in Australia.
