AFTER seeing for the second time a picture of the mayor putting rubbish into a bin in a tied plastic bag, I suggest someone please inform him that we are told not to wrap anything in plastic and tie the top.
It makes it difficult or impossible to sort and recycle, and if it is rubbish going in to landfill it will not degrade. It could cause confusion for ratepayers who are doing the right thing.
It is also such a bad example to have on the front page.
