AS a possible final addendum to the continuing saga of the City of Stirling’s 2013 waste management program, I would like to draw readers’ attention to the recently delivered information brochure.

An extract from the top page of the topic ‘Single Bin Recycling’ states:

‘Simply place all household waste in your single bin, which is collected weekly. Your plastic bottles, GLASS, aluminium and steel cans etc, etc.’

And on the bottom of the page under the ‘do-nots’, there is a clear labelled picture of GLASS bottles with a significant red cross against it!
