THE City of Stirling’s waste services department deserves praise for its readiness to help our family in the recent green waste verge collections.
Before going overseas in March, we had scheduled a pruning contractor to cut back vegetation on our property the day after we returned home.
As the council’s trucks have, in the past, cleared the verges in our street towards the end of the scheduled week, we believed we would not miss the pick-up.
Much to our surprise, the council’s efficient team had already cleared our street’s verges, prompting an urgent request for the trucks to collect our green waste on April 17 ” well after clearing started in Carine on April 14.

READ NOWThe waste services staff could not have been more helpful, authorising the trucks to clear our verge. This occurred within hours of the request.
The council’s readiness to return to our street for a special pick up is greatly appreciated.
