Speed Cushions are Just Obstacles

I LIVE adjacent to speed cushions and they are the bane of my life.

Council officers, councillors and engineers alike express bewilderment in trying to ascertain why drivers use adjacent properties to bypass the cushions.

I find this rather curious… allow me to explain.

Consider if you will if there were no cushions adjacent to my home. Therefore, how bewildering would it be to watch vehicles driving on my lawn so that drivers could bypass nothing!

One might consider that hilarious but alas, speed cushions are my reality and logic dictates that drivers bypass them because they are there.

To be sure, they are obstacles… nothing more and nothing less.
