Opinion: Illuminated street signs in Perth are visual pollution

I WOULD like to register my opinion that the illuminated street signs should not be used.

We do not need any unnecessary visual pollution.

We do not need any unnecessary distractions to traffic, particularly at busy intersections where eyes should be on moving traffic.

There is more and more visual junk/advertising everywhere, it’s seriously not needed, it costs money and does nothing to keeping our environment as natural as possible.
