I LIVE in North Beach, near the shops on Flora Terrace, where there are some excellent cafes and other businesses, all of which serve the public well.
However, though the inside of all these are clean, the outside area is a disgrace.
The spoon drains are clogged with rubbish and overflow when it rains. The area outside the shops is littered with cigarette butts, rubbish and weeds.
This unacceptable situation has existed for a considerable time, despite my contacting a local councillor, who indicated that the City of Stirling is unable to take any action, although I believe it to be a potential health hazard.
