Surf rage exists

It’s overcrowded, dangerous with new craft such as 12-foot long, stand-up paddle boards competing for waves, and now even surf rage exists, but no surfers’ code signs will help too long into the future if Perth continues to grow at its present rate of 3.3 per cent, which is over twice the national average, doubling our population in less than 20 years.

It’s scary to think how crowded our beaches will be then and how our quality of life will have plummeted. It’s difficult enough getting a wave to yourself now, but good luck then.

Now is the time to stabilise WA’s population and maintain our great outdoor lifestyle that people throughout the world envy.
