Tell ratepayers

Janice TeoStirling Times

EXCUSE the cynicism but will the City of Stirling executives who negotiated the purchase of the Mercedes-Benz vehicles for the mayor and chief executive now qualify for bonuses on top of their considerable salaries?

The council needs to display some much-needed transparency by revealing the total it has paid to executives since the KPI scheme started about seven years ago.

It is probably well in excess of half a million dollars and the City has a moral obligation to inform its ratepayers exactly how much of their money has been paid out in bonuses for executives who met only 80 per cent of their KPIs.
