Did Mr Hatton miss the Gonski campaign, promoted by the teachers and their union for an equitable and transparent model of funding? The very model that he and his Government rejected, costing state schools more than $600 million of extra Federal money over the next six years.
The truth is out. Mr Hatton’s Government intends to defund state schools because they do not support the principle of equitable education for all students.
