Mr Gemmill said the decision was an amicable one.

“I have invested over 15 years of my life into the business and it has become a strong recognised brand in WA,” he said.

“I wish the team all the success in the world, and I am looking forward to exploring opportunities in due course.”

Mr Morolla said he was excited at being given the opportunity to lead Gemmill Homes into the future, with the business hoping to build on the strong foundations left by Mr Gemmill.

“We will continue to deliver quality homes for our clients that we stand behind,” he said.

The change in ownership will not impact the staff employed by Gemmill Homes, or any current or future projects.
