CRAIG Gemmill will no longer stand behind every home he builds.

He has stepped down as managing director of Gemmill Homes after selling his shareholding to majority shareholder John Wilson.

Domenic Morolla will take on the role of general manager of Gemmill Homes.

Mr Gemmill said the decision was an amicable one.

“I have invested over 15 years of my life into the business and it has become a strong recognised brand in WA,” he said.

“I wish the team all the success in the world, and I am looking forward to exploring opportunities in due course.”

Mr Morolla said he was excited at being given the opportunity to lead Gemmill Homes into the future, with the business hoping to build on the strong foundations left by Mr Gemmill.

“We will continue to deliver quality homes for our clients that we stand behind,” he said.

The change in ownership will not impact the staff employed by Gemmill Homes, or any current or future projects.
