Owners Paula and Fred have lived for nine years at the residence, built by Dale Alcock Homes in 2001.

“A brother and sister owned the original 670sq m block and built mirror images of the same house design on the divided block,” they said.

“While living here, we replaced some of the flooring, including putting high quality wool carpet in the master bedroom, replacing the carpet upstairs and replacing the flooring in the kitchen, living area and dining room.”

The open-plan living and dining spans the length of the lower level, with a leafy courtyard at the front and rear creating a great indoor-outdoor lifestyle.

“One of our favourite parts of the home is the open-plan kitchen overlooking the living area, making it easy to entertain while preparing food,” Paula and Fred said.

“The large dining room allows use of an extension table to seat up to 16 guests for meals. We also love the light, even on gloomy days, from the large number of windows and cathedral windows above the kitchen.”

The master bedroom is privately situated downstairs with mirrored robes, walk-through ensuite plus corner spa bath and separate toilet, which can also be accessed through the laundry.

Upstairs makes the perfect children’s zone or guest area, with two bedrooms featuring built-in robes, bathroom with a second corner spa bath and landing lounge opening to the balcony.

“Some features of the area include Karrinyup shopping centre within walking distance, 20 minutes to the CBD even during peak hour and the beach is only five minutes drive,” Paula and Fred said.
