KARRINYUP was among the top five local suburbs for sales in the four weeks to May 20, according to the latest data from Reiwa.

There were 12 sales in the area. Realty Lane director Daniel Gonzalez said all styles and types of homes in Karrinyup were in demand.

“Karrinyup as a suburb has everything one could wish for including parks, lakes, bushland, golf courses, great schools, Trigg and Scarborough beach close by, shopping centres and the list goes on,” he said.

“With the lifestyle opportunity, good land size, great schools and the excitement around the Karrinyup Shopping Centre redevelopment buyers want to buy into the area now.”

Mr Gonzalez said families were very active in the market, attracted by the amenities – the incredible reputation of Carine High School was a big drawcard – and homes in the $800,000 to $1.5 million price bracket were sought after.

The demand was resulting in properties selling in a good timeframe.

“On average properties are selling within a four-week period, but we are also selling a lot of properties off-market,” Mr Gonzalez said.

When it came to selling, he said selecting the right agent was important as was presentation.
