Owners Joel and Virginia built the home with Brooks Construction in April last year, custom-designing the residence to create a modern house with a holiday vibe.
“We specifically wanted a huge open-plan living and dining area for entertaining family and friends,” they said.
“The family room alone is about 36sq m, which is the size of the average double garage.

“The kitchen, living and dining areas all have stunning views,” Joel and Virginia said.
“We love spending Sunday mornings at the Caesarstone breakfast bar overlooking the rolling hills of Scarborough and we’re going to miss having a glass of wine on the back deck on a Friday evening watching the sunset.”
They have made sure the home includes modern technology, including a video intercom system and QMotion electronic sunshade blinds to all west-facing windows, which open and close at the touch of a button.
“The quiet laneway location has a great community atmosphere with friendly neighbours, including young families and retired couples,” Joel and Virginia said.
