Local cleaners on a sustainable mission

Lucy RutherfordSponsored

Intrepid Cleaning is a commercial cleaning company based in Leederville.

Founded last year by 29-year-old Perth local Patrick Elliott, the company made it its mission to focus on the little things so you do not have to.

The permanent team of professional cleaners not only complete usual tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting and bathroom management, they also take care of everything from disinfecting door handles and cleaning microwaves and fridges to removing grime from light switches and dusting skirting and window sills.

Intrepid Cleaning is excited to partner with Greenbatch, a WA not-for-profit aiming to help end plastic waste pollution.

Currently there is no plastic reprocessing in WA and so plastic recycling is sold overseas where the majority is often burned for fuel and only a small percentage gets recycled.

Greenbatch works with schools to collect used PET plastic bottles, turning them into 3D printed objects to give the plastic new life and preventing it ending up in incinerators, landfill or oceans.

The organisation aims to build WA’s first plastic recycling facility and Intrepid Cleaning donates a portion of its revenue to help realise this goal.
