Beau Maister booted six goals from 12 disposals to help the Tigers to an 18.7 (115) to 12.8 (80) win and hold off Swan Districts for fifth spot by percentage.

Brandon Ellis booted four goals for the Sharks, who have not won since round eight.

In an open letter to fans, East Fremantle president Mark Stewart said the Sharks should have a new coach in place in the coming months. "We are extremely happy with the quality of applications and we are certain that next year's coach will be what our club requires going forward," he said.
