Staff ReporterStirling Times

GWELUP Croatia’s dream run from the second tier of WA soccer to the national stage of the FFA Cup has ended in the first round of Australia-wide matches.

The side was beaten 4-0 by top tier South Australian side the Adelaide Comets at Dorrien Gardens earlier tonight in the Round of 32 clash.

It took just five minutes for Adelaide’s Thomas Briscoe to score the visitors’ first goal before Terence Carter (44′) added another before half time.

Nathan Andijanto (55′) and Allan Welsh (86′) made it four individual scorers.
