Football: Scarborough scrapes past Curtin Uni by 11 points

SCARBOROUGH defeated Curtin Uni Wesley by 11 points in a tight encounter in the WA Amateur Football League at the weekend.

The second-placed Eagles beat Curtin Uni Wesley 11.11 (77) to 10.5 (66) at Abbett Park.

Eagles star Samuel Davies booted three goals while Curtin’s James Charlesworth kicked a bag of four.

Meanwhile, third-placed North Beach survived a scare against Wembley, to win by three points at Pat Goodridge Reserve.

North Beach won 8.18 (66) to 9.9 (63).
